Many students are signing up at this time of the semester. We will make contact with you in the WhatsApp group and your driver. This takes time. Please, pay attention to the instructions in the WhatsApp group that you will be a part of.
You must have signed up at least 3 to 4 days prior to pickup. This is to make sure we have volunteers to pick you up.
*FOR FIRST TIME NIU INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY*
Everyone who uses Airport pick up will be charged as follows:
1 Student = $60.00
2 Students = $50.00 each
3 Students or more = $40.00 each
Payment will be made with cash only to the driver
Please remember NoN is not an UBER, or is it a other form of transportation. The drivers are volunteers in the community helping you reach your destination to DeKalb.
Pick up from O’Hare International Airport ONLY.
We require 4 days lead time between when you apply and when the ride takes place.
We do not pick up on Sundays
We will not pick up on Labor Day
Network of Nations is all volunteer based.
Individual volunteers from the community of Network of Nations gladly take their time out of their day to pick you up from the airport.
The cost covers the gas and expenditures for the ride.
There is not much left over from the cost, after over an hour ride to and from the airport and waiting during immigration, and parking adds up.
Be patient, we will create a WhatsApp group as soon as a volunteer has signed up for the time and date you need to be picked up at the airport.
You must respond to the WhatsApp group in order for the driver to know you are still wanting them to pick you up.
If there are any changes to your arrival or other forms of transporation, you will need to contact us to cancel.
You are to handle your own luggage.
There will be a maximum capacity of 5 students in the vehicle.
We are not a taxi or an Uber service. Please be aware.
Do not contact us for a ride to the airport after being dropped off in DeKalb because of your lost luggage, please contact the airline you flew with. This will take time, but if you have insurance added to your luggage the airline needs to find the luggage and return it to you or they will have to refund you for the lost luggage.
You must fill out all information, Thank you
